What Events Does ACHSA Hold?
ACHSA EVENTS
Who couldn't use a little inspiration and encouragement when home schooling! ACHSA plans a number of member events each year to help parents and families connect and learn together. Our events vary between family-friendly evenings (science-themed, Christmas potluck and more!) and meetings just for the moms (paint nights, coffee nights, panel interviews, a tour of homes, etc). Prayer, devotions, and occasional worship are incorporated into our events as well. * Please note that due to Covid-19, our events will look different than past years. * USED HOMESCHOOL RESOURCE SALE
Please note that, due to COVID-19, the sale has been cancelled for this year. We encourage you to follow our Facebook page to stay up-to-date on what's happening. The date for our 2021 sale will be announced in the fall. Each spring, we host our annual Used Homeschool Resource Sale in Abbotsford, BC. We have vendors come from all over Vancouver, the Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley, Washington and as far away as 100 Mile House and Kelowna! Our shoppers travel from each of these regions as well. Vendor registration goes live in February. Follow our Facebook page, Used Homeschool Resource Sale, to receive the most recent updates. |

THE LEARNING CENTRE (TLC)
TLC is a learning co-op that runs as an umbrella group under ACHSA. Meeting generally every other week between January and May, students of all ages are invited to take three different class. Parents then share an area of expertise or interest with the students by teaching one class, helping in another, and then enjoying a coffee time with other parents. Find out more about TLC.
